For just over three decades I have provided various kinds of support for many people in different roles and positions. Over the years I have enabled them to lighten their workload and relieve them of the stress and pressures they face in their everyday working lives. I have not only saved them money but also time whilst improving efficiency when they required it. My background is in customer service and I was a customer service agent for many years. Eventually, it had a negative impact on my health and that is when I decided it was time for a career change, and to create a life for myself where I could be happy. 

 

So I started a career in freelance writing even though I had no experience and what do you know, I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed it so much that after 14 years, I’m still doing it to this day. However, a few years ago I decided I wanted to take my career along a completely different path, so I started up my business as a virtual assistant and this is how The Remote VA Way was born!

 

Based in Bedfordshire, I have two Sphynx cats Aphrodite and Ophelia who are sisters, and who keep me company throughout the day while I’m busy at work. My desk is always covered in stationary, and post-it notes, but there must always be a nice hot cup of tea on it, as this ensures everything I need in order to achieve a productive day’s work. However, some people may say that it looks like absolute chaos, but I say from chaos comes order and it certainly does. 


Here are a few random facts about me: I once sang at the Royal Albert Hall, I am a huge Betty Boop and Hello Kitty fan; I have 3 tattoos, and I absolutely LOVE CREAM CAKES!
